meet the newest ladies of the house. i am addicted to orchids, folks. i have different plants all around the house but orchids always make me the happiest. we got these last weekend when we stopped by the flower district in LA. only $10 for these huge babies! what a steal!

I cannot keep them alive but they are so pretty.
seriously.. how do u keep 'em alive? their soo temperamental. haha
i know i'm so scared of them. i honestly don't know what they really want or what really works, aside from pretending i'm not paying attention to them. i have found that they're "shy" and do well when i don't put much effort into taking care of them. when i move them around to try to increase sunlight or water too frequently, they start to die. if i leave them alone and just put a few ice cubes or minimal water once a week (or even less), they thrive! they're so weird!
