Early Mother's Day

We had an early Mother's Day celebration today because my parents will be out on the other side of the country for the next couple weeks. My mom made her delicious tacos and we all had a feast. I don't know why Reese had to act like he was starring in Les Miserables for the photo. He bragged all night long about how he was gonna win the taco-eating contest.

Brushing teeth

Brushing Weston's teeth is always a big production that involves lots of screaming, crying, water-wasting, and toothpaste-eating. He always wants to do it himself, is constantly turning the water on full blast, and I end up getting bit HARD at least once a week. He has four different types of toothbrushes that I have to rotate between until I finally feel like I've covered each tooth. This morning went surprisingly well.. That is until I took his toothbrush away at the very end.

Walnuts

I was soooooooooo nervous (so was Reese) for today's oral food challenge at the allergy clinic, but I'm happy to report that Reese ate three whole walnuts with zero reaction. No big deal for an ordinary person, but amazingly exciting for someone who was once allergic! So happy!

I took a pic to send to Anthony after Reese tried his helmet on. And then when I turned around, Weston was posing for his own picture too.

When I was dropping the boys off earlier, I told Reese I wanted to take a picture so I could look at it while I was at work. And he said, "you mean when you're supposed to be working?!"

Weston is spending the week at Anthony's mom's house. She said all he does all day is sleep. I think it's so funny how he's such a different person around them.

Viva Las Vegas

We're here in Vegas with Anthony's siblings and the Gilbertson girls. It's Chad and Nicole's first time coming here since turning 21. We all had dinner downstairs at Grand Luxe Cafe and then walked around for a bit while the kids gambled. I feel so cool pushing a double stroller around the casino haha.

Venetian

We made it to Vegas! We tried cancelling our reservation a few days ago, but since it was too late we figured we might as well still come and enjoy as much as possible. I'm feeling a lot better, thank God. And the boys love staying in hotels so so far it's been worth the trip.

Since I am sick with the flu, Anthony has been getting the boys ready in the morning and dropping them off at my parents' house. I feel like a useless good-for-nothing just laying in bed all day. It's awful, but I don't have the energy to do anything. Receiving this picture was the highlight of my day, although it's kind of funny that they look so glum.

P.S. I also think it's funny how you can tell that Anthony is the one who got them dressed. They're both wearing pants that are too small for them.

I gotta admit I was a little nervous when Jennifer sent me these pics earlier. I trust her with my kids and I know she knows how to take care of them, but I seriously wondered what she deemed safe for Reese to eat from Yogurtland. I LOL'ed when I saw what she ended up putting in his cup. Haha. I love it. I love that she included him in the fun outing, and had the foresight to make sure he would have his very own treat with absolutely zero risk of peanut contamination.

SeaWorld

My company gave us SeaWorld annual passes for last year's Christmas present. Today we finally went to use them for the first time. The boys were amazed by everything and had lots of fun.

Ironman

He did it! His goal was to finish the race in under 6 hours and he did it in 5:59:54! 6 whole seconds to spare! Haha.

Oceanside

We took the day off and are hanging out in Oceanside for the weekend! Anthony is all set for tomorrow's race!

We didn't do a whole lot so here's my exciting picture for the day. 

Weston's smiling (probably because he was just about to bite me), I look dead tired (as usual. I am), and Reese has a lovely lazy eye (which he inherited from his gross mom). Sorry, boo.
