I think it's so cute how Weston tries to play with Reese. Wes is so oblivious to the fact that Reese thinks his little brother is so annoying. Haha. I hope that as they grow older, they will have more and more fun playing together. 

8 months

This past month was such a big one for Weston. He reached so many milestones! 

He got his first two teeth, stopped having to be swaddled at night (finally!), crawls, sits up from a crawling or laying position, and pulls himself up to stand.

Anthony promised Reese a treat because he's been doing such an awesome job with potty training!

Busy day

We had a very busy day. First we celebrated Mattox's first birthday in Ontario.. then drove all the way to Woodland Hills to celebrate David's graduation and 18th birthday. Lots to enjoy and many miles traveled, and yet this was the only picture I took today. Haha.

Anthony wanted poke so we got some and then walked around at the beach. Actually, Anthony and Weston strolled on the pier while Reese and I walked the sand. Weston just woke up from a nap and Reese didn't want to go home, hence the grumpy, little faces.

Of alllll weekends, I had to work today while the Minnesotans are in town. I barely got to spend any time with them, but I'm glad the boys got lots of QT with the cuties.

These buddies were reunited today. There's no warm-up time necessary with these two. Right from the start, they have so much fun together.

I forgot to mention that Weston has his two bottom teeth now. Finally!! He's been working on them for so long! It's so hard to capture in a photo though because this guy is always moving at 100mph. He's crawling too! My baby is growing so fast!

Kitchen organization

Here's my completed kitchen organization project. The before picture is super embarrassing but that's reality. We lack storage space in our house. It didn't always look that bad, but that spot in the kitchen just became dumping grounds for all kinds of things. And also Anthony tends to leave his stuff scattered all over the house, because we don't have a dedicated entryway where people typically leave those things. I finally saw the mess through fresh eyes one day and was like, "omg this is terrible." Now it's so much better. Reese is very good at putting his hat and shoes away as soon as we walk in the door. But Anthony... hmm we're still working on him.

Celebration overload

There was a lot to celebrate today. First we went to wrenny's first birthday party! I can't believe it has already been a year since she was born! How did she grow that fast?!

Then we went to celebrate the twins at Carla and geof's baby shower! Carla is like the most glamorous preggo ever!! How is she hiding two babies in there? Craziness. I'm so excited to meet the boys!

Kitchen project

i've been working on a big kitchen project for a couple weeks now. today i was so excited to make some progress that i started working on it the second i walked in the door. the boys were like, "uhh...? can you finish bringing us in first?"
