yahoo! our trial kitchen cabinet makeover is finally complete! i can't believe it took us over a month to finish just this one area. haha. we are happy with the outcome even though it doesn't look dramatically different yet. we pretty much just smoothed out and repainted the doors (they appeared to have been painted at least 4 times each, so they were all thick and uneven looking), stripped and repainted all the yellow stuff, and replaced the knobs and hinges with simpler, more modern ones. i hope that once we paint the walls and finish the rest of the cabinets, the kitchen will look a lot more polished and up-to-date. it's a lot of work, but it'll save us a ton of money compared to if we remodel it professionally with new cabinets and all. we shall see!

kitchen progress
