out of the eight people in my company, four celebrate their birthdays in may, three in november, and one lone ranger in february. it's so weird how we're all bunched together like that. so anyway, today we had our may birthday celebration at bolsa chica. we started off with a bbq in the afternoon and ended it with a bonfire at night. what a tough 8 hours of "work" that was. while we were huddled up around the bonfire pit, virgil's wife, bonnie, kept getting mad at her ridiculous husband. haha. he kept trying to be brave by standing (barefoot) on top of the pit next to the fire. he also tried to be the fastest marshmallow roaster by sticking them straight into the fire. and even though they would come out completely black, he would pretend that he was going to eat them anyway just to annoy her. poor bonnie. she's married to a lunatic.
