january 2014

not sure if anyone still checks this but i've decided to pop in once a month with a short update. january was a fun month. we took a family trip to las vegas to take advantage of a free offer that anthony got from the cosmopolitan: three free nights, $100 for dining, and $300 for gaming. anthony ended up winning $360 using his gaming credit! on the way there, we counted it out and although it was reese's first trip, anthony and i have been to vegas together 22 times now! crazy.

another highlight was when jennifer, serena, and russell visited! we always have so much fun with them and always look forward to next time. russy didn't like reese very much, but that's okay. one day they'll be bff. =)

new year's eve

we took our annual Christmas photo tonight. this completes the year! 2013 was lots of fun and we're looking forward to more happy times in 2014! make it a good one!

kids galore

we had fun watching will's basketball game and then had a yummy dinner at yami teahouse afterwards. 

peeping reese

the fence between our house and the neighbors' house needs to be replaced. but in the meantime our little 1 year old and their little 2 year old have fun peeking at each other through this little peephole.

we had our annual homies Christmas party at our house today. we all had lots of fun, even the little ones!

buzz lightyear

reese got this cool buzz lightyear power wheels car for Christmas. he was scared of it yesterday but earlier today he just hopped on and took off. it was so funny!

sleepyhead

i didn't have to go to work today so i spent the whole day with reesey! he is growing even more attached to me, and didn't even want to be separated from me while i ate my dinner. i was eating shrimp and it was too hard to peel with him on my lap so anthony brought him to his room to read some books. he screamed and screamed, but finally quieted down. that's when anthony realized that he actually fell asleep! haha. he was absolutely pooped because he didn't even want to be "away" during a nap. he was awake the whole day! crazy baby.

Christmas eve

we celebrated Christmas eve at my auntie's house in cerritos. reese had lots of fun with his cousins!

p.s. i was very embarassed that he was wearing a batman shirt. he was wearing a very cute winter sweater but it was so warm in the house. haha woops.
